Tuesday evening’s fundraiser was a success on so many levels! We filled The Empty Corner with friends and supporters including volunteers, state and local elected officials, and dozens of other good neighbors.
I have been grateful for the support from this community since I announced my candidacy. Arlington Heights’ motto resonates with me—I truly believe that viewing each other as neighbors leads to better outcomes for everyone. I have witnessed this spirit throughout the Village, from the Red Shirts at Frontier Days to the staff and volunteers at Journeys and beyond. On Tuesday, we were among people who share a positive view of our wonderful community.
We asked people to write what they love about Arlington Heights on a blank canvas: be it the people, places, events, and more. A lot of people expressed appreciation for the Public Works and Emergency Services teams that keep our Village running and safe. We discussed our shared vision for making Arlington Heights a better place for everyone.
I am committed to working hard to earn your trust, support, and vote. As your Trustee, I will listen to everyone, consider all opinions, and use my voice and vote to support data-driven choices for our community.
Please join us. We are doing the work, and having fun doing it – together.
Thank you, and I’ll say it again: I love this town!
