Infrastructure is a Safety Issue
I want to ensure our families have safe drinking water, are protected from flooding, and can drive on safe roads.
- We are under a state mandate to replace lead service lines at a cost of about $15,000 per affected home.
- I was pleased to see the board recently reduce the homeowner share from $5,000 to $2,500.
- Yet, I know seniors and working families who will have to take out a loan or face a lien on their property.
- In speaking with Trustees from surrounding villages, I believe there are alternatives.

Support existing businesses and enhance the climate for new ones
Arlington Heights is uniquely positioned in the Northwest suburbs, and our Downtown area is the envy of surrounding towns—our local businesses are the economic backbone.

As a Trustee, I will support continued and enhanced policies that attract and retain these vital companies.
- Always Buy Arlington is my idea for an initiative that can help. Where we buy groceries and gas matters. We can choose to keep more of our tax dollars in in our town, creating local jobs and business profits in the bargain.

Whatever development happens must be good for Arlington Heights
The Bears have purchased a highly valuable property slated for development, yet they have yet to present a detailed plan for both the stadium and surrounding property.
- Until the Village sees a comprehensive plan, I cannot determine whether I would support or oppose it.
- Any development must ensure that costs for additional infrastructure and emergency services related to stadium events do not fall upon Village residents.
- Our schools must not take on a large number of new students without proper funding from the development.
- As your Trustee, I will do everything possible to ensure that any entertainment district on the Arlington Park site supports and complements our unique Downtown area and local businesses.
